At ECM Exchange Church, we are a Bible-based, Christ-centered, Spirit-led church committed to living out God’s Word in every area of our lives. While we are non-denominational, our foundation is rooted in the timeless truths of Scripture, the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It reveals God’s character, provides instruction for daily living, and serves as the foundation for all we teach and believe. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105)
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the grave, and now sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for us. One day, He will return to reign forever. (John 1:1,14; Matthew 1:18-25; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:11)
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace and is received through personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We cannot earn salvation through good works; it is only by His sacrifice that we are saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10; John 3:16)
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, empowering, guiding, teaching, and equipping us to live godly lives and serve others. The Holy Spirit also gives spiritual gifts for the edification of the church. (John 14:26; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)
We believe the Church is the body of Christ and exists to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel, disciple believers, and serve the community. We believe in the importance of assembling together for worship, fellowship, teaching, and spiritual growth. (Hebrews 10:24-25; Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:11-13)
We believe baptism by immersion symbolizes the believer's identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, is observed in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God as the foundation for family and society. Families are called to reflect God’s love and order. (Genesis 2:24; Ephesians 5:22-33; Colossians 3:18-21)
We believe Christians are called to pursue a life of spiritual growth, holiness, service, and love, reflecting the character of Christ in every area of life. (Romans 12:1-2; Galatians 5:16-26; Colossians 3:12-17)
We believe in the personal, visible, and imminent return of Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom and fulfill God’s eternal plan. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 22:12-13)
